Saturday Nov 11th - Xmas T&T/Social! It's time for the Xmas Do - come and be sociable or bring items to trade. In past years cards and other crafty items have been much appreciated. Time and venue to be announced in the October newsletter.

January 20th 2001 - Next Directory. Write the date in your diary now! People sometimes comment that they forget that a Directory is on the way until they receive it. They remember all the things they were going to put in or change but it's too late. Make a note now and keep your entries current.

Sad News.

It is with great regret that we pass on news of the unexpected death of 124 recently. Our thoughts are with his wife.

PERMACULTURE - AN INTRODUCTORY WEEKEND COURSE.

Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 October 2000 in Kendal This course was oversubscribed in July, so if you missed it, here's a chance to attend the same course this October. Permaculture is about designing for sustainable living & working to improve quality of life while reducing our impact on the environment. It can be used in your workplace, house, garden, and in your local networks. It inspires and enables people to work out their own solutions to problems using available resources and their own skills and talents. The course fee can be paid in Kents or sterling.
